His parents realized that David Ramirez had a musical gift from the time he was very young. At the age of five, his parents bought him his very first drum set. His parents belief in his talent manifested itself when it became apparent that he could play by ear. He seemed to absorb the music and play it effortlessly. As the years passed, Mr. Ramirez went to play drums with many groups and has 22 albums under his belt. As soon as he mastered the drums, he would be looking for his next challenge. He found it increasingly difficult to sit still in class and listen when all around him, he could see, feel, and hear music. In 1973, he borrowed a PA system from a friend and his parent bought two turntables for him and he went on to play at parties starting at the age of 15. He was intrigued with what he was doing and he loved to see the people dancing to the music HE was playing. He has spent hours listening to music and finding just the right songs that people might enjoy dancing too. To this day, the only thing that has changed is his bigger sound system and his array of lights. He loves entertaining his crowd and he loves to see people on the dancefloor. If you ever get a chance to catch this DJ at one of his shows, I promise you, he won't disappoint.
